We’re looking for an Associate Technical Lead with strong backend development expertise and experience in building scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be skilled in Node.js, REST APIs, databases, microservices, and cloud-native development, with working experience of Angular for frontend integration.
Role & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js
Build scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs and microservices
Work with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases as required [Preferred]
Work with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning [Good to have]
Integrate backend services with Angular-based frontend applications
Collaborate closely with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features
Implement unit and integration tests using Jest or similar testing frameworks
Work with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and ensure system stability
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and design patterns
6+ years of hands-on experience in software development and scalable system design
Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks)
Hands-on experience with Angular or other modern frontend frameworks
Strong hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL technologies (MongoDB)
Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest or equivalent tools
Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, containerization, monitoring, and deployments)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
