ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and analytically sharp Business Analyst to join our data and analytics practice. You will sit at the intersection of business and technology translating complex client challenges into structured data use cases, delivering insights through BI tools, and acting as a trusted partner to both business stakeholders and technical teams across client engagements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with client stakeholders to identify data needs, KPI definitions, and reporting objectives, translating them into structured use cases.
• Document data requirements, business rules, and logic in formats accessible to both business and technical audiences.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations in Tableau and/or Power BI to communicate findings to executive and operational stakeholders.
• Perform data profiling and validation; identify upstream data quality issues and coordinate resolution with data engineering teams.
• Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders on data definitions, reporting priorities, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers on source-to-target mappings and contribute to functional specifications, user stories, and UAT.
• Support delivery managers in tracking milestones, managing scope, and driving continuous improvement across client workstreams.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–4 years of experience at a management consulting firm or a data-focused professional services organization.
• Proven experience on BI, data visualization, or AI-adjacent delivery projects with measurable business impact.
• Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI; working knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts: dimensional hierarchies, aggregation logic, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS and how they fit into a data stack.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong structured thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams.
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience on Commercial Excellence, ERP, CRM, or data warehouse implementations.
• Exposure to multi-geography or multi-level data complexity across business units or enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or MS Project for delivery coordination.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification.
• Microsoft or Tableau certification in data analytics or BI tools.
