About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy, and result-driven Business Development Manager with 6+ years of experience in selling Digital Transformation Services and Digital Product Engineering Solutions. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in one or more of:
- Web & Mobile Applications development
- Custom Software Product Engineering
- Managed Cloud Services
- Data Engineering & AI Solutions
- UI/UX Design
You will represent BigStep to prospects and clients, talk about technology solutions like an expert, deliver high-impact pitches, conduct independent discovery and proposal calls, and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Take complete ownership of the sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure.
- Represent BigStep independently and professionally in client calls, discovery meetings, demos, and presentations.
- Understand client business challenges and consultatively pitch tailored solutions across web, mobile, UI/UX, product engineering, cloud/DevOps, and AI/ML domains.
- Convert qualified leads into long-term business relationships through strategic engagement and value-driven storytelling.
- Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations, solution demos, proposal walkthroughs, and capability decks.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Design, Product) to align proposed solutions with client needs and project feasibility.
- Foster strong and lasting relationships with key decision-makers to drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to network and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities and pipeline through CRM systems.
- 6+ years of experience in B2B Sales for services related to application development or product engineering or cloud services, Data & AI, or UI/UX,.
- Strong knowledge of software development workflows, UI/UX design principles, product engineering workflows, and digital transformation trends.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships.
- Talk like a pseudo Tech Expert in Technology Solutions.
- Tech-savvy with a quick grasp of digital platforms, tools, and solutioning approaches.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in handling independent client engagements and strategic conversations.
- Experience with CRM tools, pipeline management, and a structured sales methodology.
