We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience, having strong expertise in Node.js and a solid understanding of backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and database management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems that power our applications and services.
Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions using Node.js (must-have).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Work on microservices architecture, ensuring efficient communication between services.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Manage and optimize databases — MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and delivery.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) for hosting, monitoring, and scaling backend services.
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices across the engineering team.
6+ years of professional experience in backend development.
Expertise in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong understanding of databases — MongoDB (NoSQL) and PostgreSQL (SQL).
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) — EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Solid understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Working knowledge of Golang is an added advantage.
